I am Brenda Lloyd, current president of the Brunswick (GA) Chapter of The Links, Incorporated.
The Links, Incorporated is an organization dedicated to empowering, supporting, and connecting with our communities through advocacy, education, and service. We are built upon the tenets of Friendship and Service.
The Links, Incorporated is an international, not-for-profit corporation, established in 1946, and is one of the nation’s oldest and largest volunteer service organizations with over 17,000 members. The Brunswick (GA) Chapter was established in 1966 and is embarking upon its 60th anniversary. Our chapter serves Camden, Glynn, and McIntosh counties, and has a membership of 34 members who bring together a rich diversity of backgrounds, professions, and experiences that strengthen our organization.
The foundation of our service is through five programming facets — Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services. Through our facets, we implement programs and initiatives that address the most critical needs of our local communities.
